Role of the Management Board
The Management Board is the Company’s decision-making body. It has two members and runs the Company in tandem with the Executive Committee, subject to the oversight of the Supervisory Board.
Composition of the Management Board
Amedeo D’Angelo is Inside Secure President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Inside Secure, Amedeo spent a large part of his career at executive positions in high-tech companies. In particular, he spent more than 20 years in the field of security and payment. Amedeo dedicated the first 12 years of his career in the field of semiconductors, at AMD (Advanced Micro Devices), and then at the head of Samsung's European Operations. He has held top management positions in leading European companies including Gemplus Card International, part of the Gemplus group now Gemalto, as President. He was also the founder and CEO of Incard, an Italian company developing chip card, software applications and security products to serve the banking, telecom and the identity markets, and Chairman of Y Generation, which developed a mobile payment platform. Amedeo also served as Chief Operating Officer at Oberthur Card Systems, developing security solutions and software for personnel systems and CEO of Ingenico, a global leader in secure transactions and payment systems, where he implemented structural strategic changes necessary to position the company back to profitability. He is still currently the Chairman of Linxens, a world leader in the design and manufacture of smartcard connectors and antennas for secure documents.
Richard Vacher Detournière serves a General Manager and Chief Financial Officer for Inside Secure. Before joining the company in 2008, Richard served as a partner at Siparex, one of France’s leading private equity investment groups. He joined Siparex in 1994 and played a leading role in more than 25 financing transactions, including leveraged buy-outs, growth capital investments and investments in emerging innovative companies. Richard went on to serve as a partner in the information technology sector first in France, and then in Silicon Valley (California) with SBV Venture Partners, a U.S. venture capital firm co-managed by Siparex. Richard represented Siparex at the board of thirteen of its portfolio companies. He also served on the audit committees of several of these companies. Richard is an independent board member at Provepharm Solutions, a French-based pharmaceutical start-up. He started off his business career in 1990 as a consultant for Price Waterhouse (now PwC), in the audit and transaction support services practices, first in France, then in Central Europe. Richard, a graduate of the Ecole supérieure de commerce in Amiens (France), holds a Master’s degree in accounting and finance.
